FDA 510 (K) Cleared Kernel LLLT Hair Regrowth Therapy Helmet is designed and intended for the promotion of hair growth in females with androgenic alopecia who have Ludwig-Savin Classifications I- II, and in males with androgenic alopecia who have Norwood Hamilton Classifications IIa-V; and both genders having Fitzpatrick Classification of Skin Phototypes I to IV.
Light sources are arranged in a dot matrix for wider distribution of scalp hair follicle promotion, and employs zoned irradiation to meet different hair loss level requirements to effectively achieve differentiated treatment. While individual results vary, hair growth is typically visible at approximately 16 weeks of treatment.
Has two working modes (continuous irradiation and pulse irradiation) and three timer functions (25 minutes, 30 minutes, and 35 minutes) to meet different clinical needs. Intelligent sensing device pauses treatment time if helmet is removed, and resumes treatment if helmet is placed back on scalp within 3 minutes of removal. The Kernel Hair Regrowth Helmet is powered by an internal rechargeable battery.
A mobile APP is available for controlling the KN-8000B model. This feature can also be used for designing a treatment plan according to type of hair loss, recording treatment, and uploading photos to keep track of hair growth progress.
